The University of Genova is offering two PhD positions in the field of fluorescence microscopy, focusing on innovative approaches to image reconstruction through optimization-driven learning and generative model-aware learning. Students will engage in cutting-edge research at the intersection of mathematics and computer science within an established Machine Learning center.

Qualifications 

1. Master’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. Strong background in machine learning, image processing, and optimization methods.
2. Experience with fluorescence microscopy will be an advantage.
