    The University of Galway invites applications for a full-time, fixed-term Postdoctoral Researcher position in the Plant Systems Biology research group. This role focuses on algal physiology and aims to advance our understanding of algal cultivation and metabolism. The position is funded by the Irish Marine Institute and will be available from January 2025 for a duration of 20 months.

    Qualifications 

    1. PhD in Plant Biology, Seaweed Biology, or a closely related field
    2. Proven research experience in algal physiology or related areas
    3. Strong analytical and communication skills
