• Description:

The Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science at TU Delft is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join a project focused on innovative interconnect technology aimed at revolutionizing microcomponent assembly processes.

The postdoctoral researcher will investigate the scaling behavior of interconnects crucial for the assembly of microelectronic components. Key responsibilities include:

    1. Collaborating with a team of PhD and postdoc researchers.
    2. Designing, fabricating, and characterizing novel interconnects.
    3. Addressing challenges in metallurgy, reproducible fabrication, and property modeling.
    4.  Working alongside academic and industrial scientists to develop next-generation assembly technologies that enhance speed and sustainability of chip production.

The successful candidate will benefit from a collaborative research environment with state-of-the-art facilities at the Electronic Components, Technology and Materials (ECTM) section of the Department of Microelectronics.
