KU Leuven (Belgium) and Melbourne University (Australia) are offering two joint PhD positions in the area of ion exchange membranes and CO2 electrolysis. Candidates will work on innovative approaches to enhance membrane performance and efficiency for carbon dioxide conversion. Each position provides unique research experiences across two prominent institutions, fostering international collaboration in a critical field for sustainability.

Qualifications 

• Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or relevant disciplines with honors/magna cum laude.
• Strong interest and sound knowledge in electrochemical processes and membrane technologies.
• Fluent in English (both written and oral communication).
• Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work in international, interdisciplinary teams.
