Applications are now open for the Hertie School Digital Governance Scholarship 2025, a fantastic opportunity for students passionate about addressing the pressing challenges posed by digitalization.

In recent decades, technology has advanced at an unprecedented pace, transforming entire industries and reshaping the way we communicate, work, and share information.

From automation and innovation disrupting traditional sectors to the spread of misinformation and the increasing availability of personal data online, digital governance has never been more critical. The Digital Governance Scholarship is designed for students who want to explore these challenges and contribute to creating effective policies in the digital realm.

Eligibility 

• Open to applicants of all nationalities
• Ideal for students interested in digitalization, AI policy, and governance issues
• After receiving an admission offer, you will be invited to submit a scholarship application. You’ll have two weeks to complete this. For the Digital Governance Scholarship, you’ll need to write a one-page personal statement explaining your interest in digitalization and how your studies at the Hertie School will help you pursue this goal.

Please note that you must first be admitted to a master’s program before applying for the scholarship, and you may only apply for one full scholarship per year.
