    Dr. Heather Sander�s lab at the University of Iowa is seeking new PhD students to start in the fall of 2024.  Dr. Sander�s lab conducts research focused on identifying relationships between urban wildlife communities, landscapes, and human well-being and is an active partner in the Urban Wildlife Information Network (https://www.urbanwildlifeinfo.org/). 

    Students with research interests in urban wildlife ecology, particularly of mammals, and urban human-nature interaction, including relationships between wildlife and human well-being, are especially sought.  

    Applicants should have previous field experience with wildlife (e.g., camera trapping, live trapping) and ecological modelling experience (e.g., occupancy modelling).
