Description: Master’s or PhD Funded Position in the Department of Food Science and Nutrition at the University of Minnesota; The University of Minnesota, often referred to simply as the U of M, is a public research university system with its flagship campus in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. The Department of Food Science and Nutrition at the University of Minnesota is part of the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences (CFANS) on the Twin Cities campus. It hosts several labs and centers, such as the Food Science and Nutrition Pilot Plant (for scale-up experiments), Sensory Analysis Center, and various research kitchens.
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Master’s or Ph.D. student to join my research group in the Department of Food Science and Nutrition at the University of Minnesota. The project will focus on upcycling food and agricultural byproducts to develop innovative food ingredients.
Qualifications
Candidates with a background in biotechnology, fermentation, or food science will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic, collaborative team and engage with industry leaders on cutting-edge research.
