Description: As a PhD student, your main focus will be on conducting research and developing your skills--both technical and transferable. You will work as a part of a team and will be expected to collaborate effectively with a diverse and international group. As one of the first PhD students in the group, you will play a large role in the design, construction and operation of new and complex experiments, which means you will learn all the skills necessary to lead a research project.
Qualifications
A masters degree in Physics, Applied Physics, Nanotechnology, Photonics or Electrical Engineering is required. Exceptional candidates with a Bachelor's degree may qualify in some cases. Fluency in written and spoken English is necessary.
