This position offers the chance to collaborate with a diverse group of researchers and work on cutting-edge projects in computational fluid dynamics and machine learning.
As a Ph.D. student in this role, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team working on understanding turbulence in vortex-dominated flows. Responsibilities include using and developing computational fluid dynamics and machine learning methods to advance research in this field. The position is fully funded and offers a stipend, tuition coverage, and benefits.
Qualifications
- Strong computational and programming experience, particularly in C and Python languages
- Proficiency in working on large research codes
- Experience with MPI is desirable
- Must be highly motivated and interested in turbulence research
- Applicant must have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
