    Are you passionate about advancing the field of gas sensors and printable semiconductors to contribute to a sustainable future? Join the Sustainable Optoelectronics Research Group, led by Prof. Vincenzo Pecunia, at Simon Fraser University. We are offering two Postdoctoral Fellowship positions focusing on the development of innovative multi-gas sensor platforms utilizing printable semiconductors for sustainability-focused applications.

    Qualifications 

    • PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with a focus on electronics and sensor-based emerging electronic materials (e.g., organic semiconductors, carbon nanotubes, metal oxides, 2D semiconductors, and perovskites).
    • Proficiency and experience in circuit design and machine learning.
    • Demonstrated academic excellence with a cumulative GPA of 3.9/4.33 (or equivalent).
    • Excellent command of the English language.
    • Eligibility for a work permit for Canada if you are not a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident.
    • Availability to start in January 2025.
