The International Excellence Scholarships offer students with academic excellence $25,000 per year for recognition as having an exceptional academic ability to study at Hamline University. Scholarship holders can also apply for additional scholarships that are up to $5,000.
Deciding to study in the United States is an exciting commitment for many international students, and Hamline is thrilled that you’re considering her as your future home. In addition to the Hamline International Excellence Scholarship, which awards up to $25,000 every year, the university also has other scholarships for international students that will make pursuing your college degree at Hamline more affordable.
If you’re an international undergraduate student, Hamline University offers the following scholarships:
- Merit-based academic scholarships
- ESL program scholarships
- Talent scholarships
- United Methodist awards
- Outside scholarships
- The Scholarship awards up to $25,000 per year to students recognized as having exceptional academic ability.
- You can also apply for additional scholarships that range from $1,500 to $5,000.

Application
To apply for the 2025 Hamline University International Excellence Scholarship, interested and qualified applicants should;
- Apply for an undergraduate admission to an eligible course at Hamline
- The scholarships are offered based on your admission materials. No separate application is required.
