    Join the FernUniversität in Hagen, Germany’s largest state distance-learning university, as a doctoral candidate at the Chair of Behavioral Economics and Intercultural Psychology.     The successful candidate will be involved in academic self-administration, sharing research findings through conference presentations and publications, and supervising bachelor and master theses as well as student assistants.     Qualification 

    1. (Nearly) completed above-average university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in psychology, economics, or a related field
    2. Academic qualification (e.g., doctorate) with a focus on cross-cultural social interactions
    3. Very good knowledge of quantitative research methods
    4. Experience or keen interest in cross-cultural psychology and/or behavioral economics
    5. Willingness to develop expertise in statistical methods for large-scale datasets
    6. Experience with data analysis in R or STATA
    7. Excellent command of English; German language skills are a plus
    8. Commitment, friendliness, open-mindedness, and ability to work in a team
