The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at VSB Technical University of Ostrava is seeking two dynamic individuals for the role of VP9 Researcher (Junior/Postdoc) for the Department of Cybernetics and Biomedical Engineering. This position is part of the Life Environment Research Center Ostrava (LERCO) project under the Biomedical Engineering research program. The successful candidates will contribute to groundbreaking research in the field of Biomedical Engineering, specifically focusing on Telemedicine and eHealth.

Qualification:

• Completed Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of English language at B2 level.
• Publication activity in traditional journals exclusively focused on biomedical engineering (minimum 2 publications in 1st quartile journals according to Scopus/WoS).
• Internship abroad of at least 4 months or previous experience in a research project of a minimum duration of 1 year at a minimum of 0.4 FTE with a share in the output of intellectual property protection.
• Flexibility, motivation for scientific work, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
