    The Quantitative Intelligent Medical Imaging (QUIN) lab and Musculoskeletal Imaging Group at Harvard Medical School are seeking highly motivated postdoctoral researchers to develop MRI techniques for enhancing images and automated image analysis using deep learning tools. Join a collaborative team of radiologist-scientists and machine learning experts in Boston, a hub for healthcare and medical

    The selected candidates will develop image processing techniques and software tools for analyzing MRI images and computing imaging markers of disease. Projects may include image analysis, enhancement, reconstruction, or super-resolution, with the aim of translation into clinical practice. Researchers will collaborate closely with radiologist-scientists and machine learning experts, attending courses and seminars at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School.

    Qualifications 

    • Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or related fields
    •  Strong background in AI/ML and/or computational methods
    • Proficiency in Python, C++, Matlab, or similar prototyping and software development skills
    • Experience with deep learning libraries (e.g., Pytorch) and processing medical imaging data
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
