    The Theoretical Physics group at UTINAM, University of Franche-Comté, France, is offering exciting PhD and Master internship positions in the field of Quantum Information Theory. As part of the QuanTEdu-France project, we are seeking brilliant and motivated Master and PhD students to work on “Quantum information, decoherence, dissipation, and interacting qubits.” The positions are full-time, and the successful candidates will contribute to groundbreaking research in quantum synchronization of superconducting qubits.

    The positions involve theoretical research on quantum physics with applications in quantum technology. Responsibilities include disseminating research results in international workshops and conferences, participating in scientific events organized by the QuanTEdu-France consortium, and potentially teaching at the department of physics (non-mandatory).

    Eligibility 

    • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Physics or related fields
    •  Good knowledge in quantum physics
    •  Prior experience in numerical methods programming

    Benefits 

    • Full-time positions with a fixed term of three years (PhD)
    • Net salary of around 2000 euros per month (PhD)
    • Master internship available for a duration of two to six months with a gratification of about 640 euros per month
    • Collaboration with renowned research institutions in France
