    Introduction

    This course is jointly launched by Huawei and Southwest Jiaotong University. The course introduces the characteristics and application field of big data; the challenge and technological change of big data; the big data computing framework; NoSQL and NewSQL; HBase and Hive; and other important knowledge of big data management.

    Course Objectives

    1. Understand the difference between big data management and traditional data management technology; 2. Master new technologies and methods of big data management; 3. Able to analyze application requirements related to big data.
