• Description:

Join a collaborative project between Johnson & Johnson and the University of Leuven to investigate the metabolic effects of permeation enhancers on in vitro model systems using metabolomics and lipidomics. This postdoctoral position offers an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in pharmaceutical analysis and analytical development.

The postdoctoral researcher will be part of the Advanced Material Characterization & Investigations team within Analytical Development at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine (JJIM) and the division of Pharmaceutical Analysis at KU Leuven. Responsibilities include:

    1. Conducting research on the metabolic effects of permeation enhancers using metabolomics and lipidomics.
    2. Performing liquid chromatography (LC) and mass spectrometry (MS) analyses.
    3. Managing, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets.
    4. Collaborating with both industrial and academic partners.
    5. Communicating research findings through presentations and publications.

PhD in (Analytical) Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences, (Bio-) Engineering, or equivalent. Strong interest in analytical chemistry and metabolomics. Proficiency in liquid chromatography (LC) and mass spectrometry (MS) required. Hands-on experience with cell cultures preferred.
