    Are you passionate about engineering and have a fascination for medical imaging technology? We offer a challenging PhD position in the Magnetic Detection & Imaging group aimed at enhancing the workflow during MR-guided interventions by providing real-time and comprehensive procedural feedback.

    The PhD project entails designing and integrating new technologies and methods from the domains of physics, electrical engineering, and computer sciences to serve the next generation of interventional MRI systems. It involves collaboration with interventional teams from various clinics and working across disciplinary borders.


    1. Enthusiastic and highly motivated researcher
    2. Hold or will shortly acquire a master’s degree in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, computer science, or equivalent
    3. Creative mindset with excellent analytical and communication skills
    4. Team player comfortable in an interdisciplinary and internationally oriented environment
    5. Proficient in English and programming (Matlab, Python, C++, or similar)
    6. Background knowledge in MR physics is considered a plus
