Politecnico di Milano’s Department of Chemistry, Materials, and Chemical Engineering invites applications for 10 PhD positions as part of the Marie-Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network “REBONE.” This multidisciplinary project focuses on the optimal design of personalized bioactive glass/ceramic bone substitute implants. The project involves 10 doctoral positions, each focusing on a specific aspect of the REBONE project. Positions cover topics such as optimization of bone-substitute architectures, 3D printing technologies, tissue-scaffold biological interaction, biomechanical characterization, industrial processes, fracture site characterization, tissue growth models, in vitro culture models, and mixed reality for implant surgery planning. - Applicants must be doctoral candidates, not holding a doctoral degree at the recruitment date
